PredictAbles ESRs from Finland (Najla Azaiez, Natalia Louleli and Orsolya Kolozsvari) have arrived in Haskins Laboratories (Yale University) for their secondment. Haskins is a research institute which focusses on the investigation of speech, language and reading, and their biological basis.

Three of the PredictAble ESRs were lucky to be accepted to the Annual Boston University Conference on Language Development (BUCLD) held from 3–5 Nov 2017 in Boston (US) were Nuria Sebastián Gallés (UPF) was an invited speaker! Her talk addressed the topic “Divide and conquer: The onset of bilingualism.”
As a part of the Fête de la science in Paris (6th — 8th Oct 2017) the LPP (Laboratoire Psychologie de la Perception) organized workshops and activities around linguistics at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie. The topic was: Languages of the world, world of languages.
