The aim of Jessica Gemignani is to develop an extension module to NIRx’ professional free-access NIRS software. This module will specifically target the processing, analysis, and functional mapping of NIRS data in very young children. Specific needs for infant studies that will be taken into account include the limited measuring time/segmented data, the high likelihood of motion artefacts, and the specific measuring geometry/anatomy.
We want to develop a flexible analysis tool that can be applied hardware-independently by a majority of users.
